Seven Degrees Laguna Beach

Natalie and Rush’s big wedding day in historic and beautiful Laguna Beach, CA. Such a fun bunch of people. If you haven’t been to Laguna Beach before, this first picture is perfect representation of this beach community. Basically lots of houses along a hill on the shores of the great Pacific Ocean. The city has limited entry points (and limited parking, hahah) so it has been able to remain pretty small and unique here in Orange County.

We started with a Catholic ceremony at the VERY nice St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. . .

Every wedding should have a happy welcoming crew like this one, getting you excited for the celebration! . . .

Let’s just skip right to the good part:)

One of the best lines of the day, “These two are like the Brad and Angelina of the Persian/Filipino community!” Hahah, excellent. . .

After the ceremony we made our way over to Seven Degrees. If you haven’t been to or heard of Seven Degrees, it is well known as the most customizable wedding venue in Orange County – art, concept, lighting, decor, food, etc. They are a “blank canvas” ready for your dream. It really is a unique venue and I highly recommend a visit. The following pictures were taken around the property and the immediate vicinity of the Seven Degrees . . .

Seven Degrees moonlights as an art studio with several on-site artists, so I went one step further here and made some art out of their artsy water fountain . . .

Estancia Wedding San Diego

It is interesting how many “good luck” weddings that I have photographed this past wedding season, considering that it has been such a warm winter here in southern California. It feels like there have been about 5 rainy days this last season and I photographed a wedding on each of those. No matter, it takes some flexibility and creativity to be a wedding vendor on these days but it is always fun.

This day in La Jolla, San Diego was a mix of overcast and rain. It rained at just the right times and was overcast at the perfect times. What helped even more was having a really beautiful venue to photographer at – The Estancia La Jolla Hotel and Spa. Such a nice place.

Ruby Hill Golf Club Wedding | Pleasanton, CA

Every once in a while you get to participate in and/or witness a wedding that is so well designed and presented, that it is almost magical. From the exclusive venue, to the designer shoes/dress, the perfect colors and even professional lighting . . . Kristina and Tim’s wedding was such an event.

Everything starts with a venue and the Ruby Hill Golf Club in Pleasanton, CA is the ultimate wedding venue. It is so incredibly beautiful from the grand entrance to the winding roads, the extraordinary homes, the meticulously manicured foliage, the prestigious golf course and then the grand club house. From their website, “Nestled among the sun-washed hills of the historic Livermore Valley wine country, Ruby Hill Golf Club brings together an array of world-class amenities to offer an incomparable private club experience. Sophisticated, inspiring and unique, Ruby Hill Golf Club has become one of the most desired ceremony and reception locations in Northern California.”

Kristina and Tim were so much fun on their wedding day. It’s one of the days filled with the best of friends and the most laughter you can imagine. Custom drinks, lots of delicious food and great dancing.

Keeping the “main thing” the “main thing” . . . a little surprise for Tim later . . .

WOW to Kristina, she looks amazing!!

Impromptu dance party! . . .

Tim and his boys rocked it in their custom tailored suits and designer shoes . . .

Not to be outdone by the girls, the guys bust into impromptu dance party setting the pace for the rest of the night!

Kristina and Dad getting ready for the walk down the aisle . . .

It was a freezing and rainy day in the East Bay and so the ceremony was moved inside. It was incredibly beautiful thanks to the privacy given by the venue, the dramatic architecture and the custom lighting . . .

Perfect wedding photo for the East San Francisco Bay area . . .
